Boynton Beach Homes for Sale
Discover Boynton Beach's Luxury Real Estate Market
Boynton Beach is recognized as one of the many small yet vibrant towns interspersed along the coastline of South Florida. The same year-round sunshine that first attracted settlers still bathes the quiet neighborhoods of the city, and mixes with the graceful influence of “Old Florida.” Boynton Beach offers particular advantages to luxury home buyers wary of the popularity of the larger, more populated cities that lie to the north and south. Seclusion and tradition define luxury real estate in this coastal town. The expanded space between homes provides a sense of privacy, while the local beaches are far less crowded than their counterparts.

These qualities are what make communities such as Equus and Harbor Estates some of the finest in the county. Boynton Beach remains a secret gem within Palm Beach County, and the Nestler Poletto Sotheby’s International Realty team is available now to help you discover its inherent charm.
A History of Progress
Boynton Beach’s history is one that mimics many of its larger neighbors. The original residents were drawn to the gorgeous beaches and temperate climate, and quickly discovered incredibly fertile soil. At the turn of the 20th century, tons of pineapples, tomatoes, mangos, and other citrus fruit left Boynton Beach, bound for grocers across the U.S.
By the 1920’s numerous dairy farms had sprung up throughout the western half of the town, leading to Boynton Beach becoming the main milk supplier for all of Palm Beach County. However, by the end of the 1970’s, these farms eventually gave way to the construction of many of the area’s prestigious housing developments. Since then, Boynton Beach has remained a secluded and unique locale defined by its ability to adapt to the times without straying from its original roots.
A Perfect Mix of Activity and Education
From all manner of seaside recreation to the twisting trails and swamplands of the Everglades, Boynton Beach offers an eclectic mix of activities and attractions for active lifestyles. In fact, a surprising number of professional athletes from across the NFL, NBA, and MLB call Boynton Beach home.
The Boynton Beach inlet operates as a direct access point for water travelers, and is home to multiple protected artificial and coral reefs. The warm tides of the Atlantic Ocean are known as an ideal fishing ground for Marlin normally found in much deeper waters. For those who prefer dry land, the iconic dunes and boardwalk have been renovated time and time again to offer the very best experience possible. The boardwalk itself was constructed of recycled plastic in the 1990’s, before being rebuilt using beautiful Brazilian walnut wood in 2011. The beach itself was recognized in 2001 as the Best Family Beach in Palm Beach County by the Palm Beach Post. Moving west, free admission is available at the Wakodahatchee wetlands, which serves as a home to wood storks, alligators, egrets, raccoons, and various other wildlife species.
The area is also popular among families with school-aged children. Boynton Beach falls within the confines of the School District of Palm Beach County. This district is the 12th largest in the country, offering a large number of highly-rated schools and educational facilities to residents.
