Nestler Poletto Sotheby’s International Realty agents hold the Boca Raton and Delray Beach areas dear to our hearts. We don’t just sell properties throughout South Florida – we live here. We have a real stake in the same communities we work in and around. That’s why when presented the opportunity to support fellow residents, we take it!
And on a balmy Saturday morning this past October 24, that’s exactly what we did.
Beginning bright and early at 8:00 AM, several agents and their families participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer – 5K walk. The event was put on by the American Cancer Society, and provided us the chance to raise money and awareness for a worthwhile cause.
The festivities kicked off at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. Turn-out was high, which was to be expected. Last year drew over 16,000 participants!
The 5K took us from the amphitheater to Palmetto Park Road. From there, we followed a gorgeous route down to A1A and back up.
NPSIR agents and friends went above and beyond, handing out water to many walkers as they traveled past. The event was a great success, and we’re very much looking forward to next year!

NPSIR hosts “An Evening with the Artist” event the third Thursday of every month and April’s installment is set to build on the success of previous events.
An Evening Set to Impress
The next evening with the artist event is Thursday, April 17th, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at the NPSIR Sales Office located in 200 East. We offer a sophisticated selection of local and national wines and delectable appetizers to enjoy while browsing the artwork on display.
As with all evening with the artist events, this event is open to the public and everyone is invited.
Please RSVP by Monday, April 14th to insure we have an accurate headcount for those attending.
Our previous artist events were extremely successful and helped us connect with the community and the artistic talent that calls Florida home.
We’re proud to host something that coincides with the variety of Mizner Park events in the area.
Blooming beauty in artwork by Luisa Comizzo
This month’s featured artist is Luisa Comizzo whose favorite subject matter for artwork is flowers. Fitting that such an accomplished artist helps welcome spring and all of the natural beauty blooming in south Florida.
Luisa was born in Italy and is a self-taught artist who first explored her creativity through drawing when she was a young girl.
While her initial artistic expression was through colored pencil and ink, Luisa began exploring the use of oils during her time living in Venezuela.
What started as work on miniatures and small canvases grew in size as Luisa discovered more ways to make the ideas in her mind flow into her brush strokes and into stunning works of art.
Vivid life on canvas
Luisa Comizzo’s love and appreciation for flowers is evident in her large paintings of them. Living in Boca Raton has helped Luisa build on and improve her artistic talent so that now her flowers on canvas appear three-dimensional and as though they could bloom to life right from the artwork.
Nature is dear to Luisa’s heart and her creations feature rich colors, fluid lines and a highly effective use of shadows and light.
One almost feels the warmth of the sunlight the flowers in her paintings are thriving in and they’re a breathtaking reflection of the endless sunshine in Florida at Mizner Park events.
Bountiful arts to enjoy in Boca Raton
NPSIR’s Evening with the Artist is a unique monthly event that brings emphasis to the extensive artistic talent throughout Boca Raton and Delray Beach.
There are plentiful opportunities to enjoy the arts, culture and entertainment aspects of southern Florida and Mizner Park events offer excitement and interest for everyone.
The Mizner Park Amphitheater has weekly events that feature area restaurants, live music and fund raising events for notable causes like Autism Speaks. Whether residents want to stroll through downtown, take in artwork, listen to live music, shop or dine, it’s available at Mizner Park events.
The beauty and vibrancy of spring came early to South Florida through artist events hosted by Nestler Poletto Sotheby’s International Realty (NPSIR) at 200 East Palmetto Park Road.
NPSIR’s Evening with the Artist events happen every third Thursday of the month and so far, they’ve featured world-renowned artists Lee Roi Hutton and Susan Megur.
Add these cultural nights to the existing array of Mizner Park events nearby and the reasons to live in Boca Raton and Delray Beach become more numerous every day.
Enjoy the Evening
NPSIR’s next evening with the artist features Robin Brisker and is Thursday, March 20th, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at our Sales Office in 200 East.

He’s now settled back in American and chosen Delay Beach as his newest home. He’s had studios in every country he’s resided in and along with his studio in Delray Beach, has studios in the U.S. cities of Dallas, Chicago, L.A. and Portland, Oregon.
Artistry of Robin Brisker

Robin’s use of color and shapes to convey not just images, but emotions is stunning to behold. His artwork is at home in the grandest residents and most private luxury villas.

There’s a new reason to love Delray Beach, Florida and it is Delray Marketplace. Construction of this shopping and entertainment complex on Atlantic Avenue was completed in 2013 and it’s the talk of the town.
There are ample opportunities for unique shopping, fine dining and entertainment including movies, bowling and live events at its amphitheater.
1. Convenient location
Delray Marketplace’s location is easily accessed from West Delray and West Boca for those in the region who occasionally want a shorter trip than the jaunt to Mizner Park.
The traffic in the area isn’t as heavy as other downtown locations thanks to its more remote placement but it’s easy to reach and adjacent to a Florida Turnpike exit.
2. Village center feel
Said to be trendier than enclosed malls of the area, Delray Marketplace is an ideal place to park and stroll for a few hours.
There are benches and grassy areas to sit and rest feet tired from shopping and many of the restaurants offer exterior seating.
A majority of the shops are open into the later evening hours and it’s a great place to wander beneath the night-darkened Florida skies.
The Marketplace has its own amphitheater with room for 200+ people on a landscaped, grassy area. Limited seating is provided but everyone is invited to bring a chair or blanket to relax on and listen to the sounds of live music under the stars.
There are cocktails available for purchase during the events. The amphitheater is hosting a music fest in February every Thursday night from 5-7 p.m.
4. Variety of restaurants
From fine Italian dining at Terra Fiamma to classic and contemporary American cuisine at Burt & Max’s Grille, there’s food for everyone’s particular tastes. Enjoying a sit-down dinner or grabbing a piece of pizza on the go are easy to do at Delray Marketplace.
5. Sweet treats
Shoppers indulge in sweet treats at Orange Leaf frozen yogurts and the candy store called It’s Sugar. It’s Sugar offers nearly every sweet concoction imaginable from decadent chocolates to nostalgic candy like Pop Rocks. Gift boxes are also available.
6. Movie theater experience
Frank Theaters Cinebowl and Grille is more than just a movie theater. Along with the IMAX Theater, there’s also bowling and great food available. Patrons reserve their seats and they receive the best personal experience possible.
7. Pampering for all
A selection of day spas and salons offer pampering for both men and women. Women indulge in the finest treatments while men polish up their masculine appeal at the aptly named Man Cave Salon.
8. Upscale Shopping
Chico’s and White House/Black Market are just two of the clothing boutique choices at Delray Marketplace. New stores are still being added and it promises to be an interesting shopping mix for the area.
9. Safe environment
Shop, buy groceries, eat, catch a movie and bowl all within the safe environment of Delray Marketplace.
10. Luxury living expanding
The growing population of luxury-living lovers in beautiful Delray Beach led to the prosperous development of Delray Marketplace. It’s a closer destination than Mizner Park with its own unique character.
Mizner Park is great destination but when there’s a need for a quieter area, the Marketplace is an ideal spot to visit.
