There’s a new reason to love Delray Beach, Florida and it is Delray Marketplace. Construction of this shopping and entertainment complex on Atlantic Avenue was completed in 2013 and it’s the talk of the town.
There are ample opportunities for unique shopping, fine dining and entertainment including movies, bowling and live events at its amphitheater.
1. Convenient location
Delray Marketplace’s location is easily accessed from West Delray and West Boca for those in the region who occasionally want a shorter trip than the jaunt to Mizner Park.
The traffic in the area isn’t as heavy as other downtown locations thanks to its more remote placement but it’s easy to reach and adjacent to a Florida Turnpike exit.
2. Village center feel
Said to be trendier than enclosed malls of the area, Delray Marketplace is an ideal place to park and stroll for a few hours.
There are benches and grassy areas to sit and rest feet tired from shopping and many of the restaurants offer exterior seating.
A majority of the shops are open into the later evening hours and it’s a great place to wander beneath the night-darkened Florida skies.
The Marketplace has its own amphitheater with room for 200+ people on a landscaped, grassy area. Limited seating is provided but everyone is invited to bring a chair or blanket to relax on and listen to the sounds of live music under the stars.
There are cocktails available for purchase during the events. The amphitheater is hosting a music fest in February every Thursday night from 5-7 p.m.
4. Variety of restaurants
From fine Italian dining at Terra Fiamma to classic and contemporary American cuisine at Burt & Max’s Grille, there’s food for everyone’s particular tastes. Enjoying a sit-down dinner or grabbing a piece of pizza on the go are easy to do at Delray Marketplace.
5. Sweet treats
Shoppers indulge in sweet treats at Orange Leaf frozen yogurts and the candy store called It’s Sugar. It’s Sugar offers nearly every sweet concoction imaginable from decadent chocolates to nostalgic candy like Pop Rocks. Gift boxes are also available.
6. Movie theater experience
Frank Theaters Cinebowl and Grille is more than just a movie theater. Along with the IMAX Theater, there’s also bowling and great food available. Patrons reserve their seats and they receive the best personal experience possible.
7. Pampering for all
A selection of day spas and salons offer pampering for both men and women. Women indulge in the finest treatments while men polish up their masculine appeal at the aptly named Man Cave Salon.
8. Upscale Shopping
Chico’s and White House/Black Market are just two of the clothing boutique choices at Delray Marketplace. New stores are still being added and it promises to be an interesting shopping mix for the area.
9. Safe environment
Shop, buy groceries, eat, catch a movie and bowl all within the safe environment of Delray Marketplace.
10. Luxury living expanding
The growing population of luxury-living lovers in beautiful Delray Beach led to the prosperous development of Delray Marketplace. It’s a closer destination than Mizner Park with its own unique character.
Mizner Park is great destination but when there’s a need for a quieter area, the Marketplace is an ideal spot to visit.

There’s always something interesting to experience at and around Mizner Park in Boca Raton, Florida.
Nestler Poletto Sotheby’s International Reatly (NPSIR) is deeply involved with the surrounding community and takes pride in having a finger on the pulse of all the local events.
As a way of celebrating the arts in Boca Raton, we host a monthly event called “An Evening with the Artist” every third Thursday of the month from 6-8 p.m. at our Sales Center in 200 East located near Mizner Park at 200 East Palmetto Park Road.
Our January event was a monumental success and we eagerly invite everyone to RSVP and attend the upcoming event in February.
January Kick-off Event a Big Success!
The Evening with the Artist event took place on January 16th and was a smashing success! With our office located right near Mizner Park at 200 East Palmetto Park Road, NPSIR makes it our business and pleasure to be part of everything occurring in the energetic area.
Those who attended included NPSIR seller clients, residents of 200 East, agents and other invited clients.
A selection of wine and appetizers was served and everyone was invited to bring a friend, which helped make the evening such an unforgettable kickoff for this monthly event.
Featured Artist for January: Lee Roi Hutton
NPSIR’s Evening with the Artist event for January featured Lee Roi Hutton. Lee was born in Houston, Texas and first explored and expressed his creative side in the School of American Ballet in New York.
His ballet talents enabled him to explore worldwide. When an injury ended his ballet career, Lee found a new outlet for his creativity through drawings on paper that eventually developed into acrylic paintings on canvas. He received formal training at Art Students League of New York City and eventually transitioned into oil painting as he continued to explore new ways of expressing his imagination through his artwork.
South Florida Expanded Lee Roi Hutton’s Vision
Moving permanently from New York to South Florida, Lee now brings the beauty of the tropical region into his artwork with vibrancy and depth. Paintings feature colors that reflect, mimic and highlight the bright Florida skies, lush greenery and unique earth tones. Anyone who missed the January event can view his artwork on display and for sale at NPSIR’s Sales Office until February 13, 2014.
NPSIR Continues Sotheby’s Art Involvement
From the first auction of valuable books in 1744 by their founder, Samuel Baker, Sotheby’s has been heavily invested in the arts. Throughout generations, Sotheby’s has expanded to become involved with fine arts, jewelry, wine and ultimately, their own institute of art. Sotheby’s is infinitely more than a worldwide real estate agency and their knowledge, experience and professionalism in the arts extends into everything they do. It’s natural then that NPSIR continues that art involvement with our monthly An Evening with the Artist event.
Upcoming Area Art Events
February’s NPSIR An Evening with the Artist features Susan Megur who is a resident of South Florida. Her work has been exhibited worldwide at galleries, museums and universities and is described as “a unique look into the spirit of humanity.” The NPSIR event takes place on February 20th, 2014 at our Sales Office from 6-8PM. Please RSVP by Monday February 17th by calling 561-997-7227.
Other great events celebrating the arts are upcoming at the Mizner Park Amphitheater and include The Florida Youth Orchestra performance on February 2nd and the Boca Raton Museum of Art’s 28th Annual Outdoor Juried Art Festival on February 8th and 9th.
Even though the holidays are over, the fun festivities run all year long in the perfect weather of South Florida. Mizner Park in Boca Raton is a hub for award-winning dining, exciting shopping, great entertainment and live events.
Enjoy the Blues Beneath Endless Blue Skies
The Sunshine Blues Festival is in its second year and promises to be even better this year than last. The event starts Saturday, January 18th and runs all day long on two stages.
The first day of the event takes place in the Mizner Park Amphitheater and is an exciting way to kick off the New Year. While it’s hard to be blue amid such beautiful weather, it’s easy to enjoy listening to the blues beneath clear skies as tropical breezes stir the air for Mizner Park events.
Performers at the event include headliners The Tedeschi Trucks Band and other amazing musical artists including The Ringers featuring Jimmy Herring from Widespread Panic, JJ Grey, Leon Russell and many others. Read more about the artists here: http://www.sunshinebluesfestival.com/artists/
When to Arrive and Where to Park
The Sunshine Blues Festival begins at noon on Saturday with doors opening at 11:30 a.m. Free parking for Mizner Park events at the amphitheater is available at both Boca Raton libraries and City Hall.
There are no pets, outside food or chairs allowed in this event but there will be an assortment of beverages available including craft beers and food from a diverse variety of the local restaurants.
Seating is provided in the amphitheater and attendees are encouraged to enjoy the entertainment on both stages throughout the day.
Bringing the Blues and Amping the Energy
Mizner Park in Boca Raton is always bustling with life but The Sunshine Blues Festival magnifies the energy of this popular south Florida destination. The live event brings fresh vibrancy to Mizner Park events and shakes off the post-holiday daze in the best way possible.
Getting out and about among crowds of people who aren’t fighting over merchandise or searching doggedly for the perfect gifts but who are instead having light-hearted fun is a perfect way to remember that everyone can get together and get along in social venues.
The Sunshine Blues Festival brings everyone back down to earth to share in live music, delicious drinks and delectable food.
A Memorable Debut
Despite the inclement weather of last year’s debut of The Sunshine Blue’s Festival, a crowd of at least 4000 spectators came out to enjoy the live music. A review in the Naples News described the laid-back style of the festival as “reminiscent of the classic music festivals of the Sixties and Seventies…no glitzy costumes, no dancers, no floor show. These players came to lay down the blues.”
American Blues Scene Magazine describes the festival as a way to carry on Florida’s rich tradition in the blues, which includes giving the world The Allman Brothers, Ray Charles, Tom Petty and now The Tedeschi Trucks Band, or TTB to their fans.
The Sunshine Blues Festival is the first of many exciting upcoming Mizner Park events that cater to all styles of entertainment tastes. Shake off the mid-winter blues and get out in the sunshine to hear just how hot the blues can be!
We hope to see you out at the Sunshine Blues Festival this year! If you’re interested in more information about what Boca Raton and surrounding areas have to offer in ultra-luxury properties and lifestyle, view our featured luxury homes for sale and give us a call at 561.997.7227.

This weekend 16,000 people came out to make strides against breast cancer in South Palm Beach!
Every year South Palm Beach hosts a Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event.
This weekend, on Saturday, October 26th the stride started at the north end of Mizner Park Ampitheatre, then through Mizner park, over to Palmetto Park Road. From there participants headed east to A1A over the Intracostal Bridge and back to the Mizner Park Ampitheatre.
There was pink everywhere! And right along the path included the new Nestler Poletto Sotheby’s International Realty headquarters where agents and staff handed out cold bottles of water and cheered everyone on.
Earlier in the week everyone at NPSIR wore pink to the office in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Our team of 59 people who either participated in the stride, donated, or volunteered were able to raise money and happily donate their time and resources to this important cause.
Thank you to everyone who came out, and we look forward to seeing you again next year at this inspiring event.
Everyone ready to hand out water bottles!
“Pink Day” at the NPSIR office.
